Solar Powered Planters from Gardener’s Supply Company

I went ga-ga over these amazing containers from Gardener’s Supply Company that provide both day and evening decor.  You can choose between round (12″ in diameter x 15″ tall) or square (11” square by 14” tall) pots. I have the rounds but will be adding the squares to my collection this spring. During the day, the attractive polypropylene pots appear frosted white, but at dusk the show begins as they illuminate from within. A switch on the solar panel lets you choose the color-changing mode or select one color. The solar panel is attached to a 10’ cord, allowing lots of flexibility as to where to showcase the pot, including in shady spots. 18 LEDs glow for 6 to 8 hours on a full charge with rechargeable batteries included.
