garden celebration on Friday, August 3 at Pleasant View Gardens in
Loudon, NH. The featured speaker is award-winning garden and lifestyle
expert, P. Allen Smith, the spokesman for Proven Winners. He is known for his
series of popular books and three television shows. During lunch, P. Allen will
show us how to transform ordinary landscapes into extraordinary ones with before
and after presentations. After lunch, he will be available for book signings
and pictures.

facilities and impressive trial gardens, including over 500 Proven Winners
varieties, as well as new introductions for the year 2013. There will also be
educational sessions in and around the gardens on how to best care for

Pleasant View Gardens is a showcase
production center for exceptional plants, including Proven Winners annuals,
perennials, grasses and flowering shrubs. The nursery covers nearly 30 acres,
including 14 acres under cover and 14 acres of outdoor production. It ships
plants to retail garden centers all over the Northeast.

Faddegon’s Nursery (http://www.faddegons.com/) in Latham, NY
has been invited to attend this event, along with their patrons. The
cost of the day is $65 per person, which includes round tip bus fare, lunch, a
garden lecture with handouts while on route to Pleasant View Gardens, and light
refreshments. The bus will leave Faddegon’s Nursery at 6:30 a.m. on
Friday, August 3 and return to the nursery by 6:30 p.m. To reserve your spot,
