National Garden Festival in Buffalo

I am honored to be a keynote speaker for the opening of the National Garden Festival that kicks off Friday, June 24 and runs through July.  The festival features national speakers, over fifty of the areas most beautiful private gardens, and more.  I will be part of the festival’s kick on Friday, June 24 at the Buffalo & Erie County Botanical Gardens.  At 3:00 p.m. Sally Cunningham and I will lead a garden tour of the Botanical Gardens.  Then at 4:30 p.m. I will present a PowerPoint lecture on the art of low-maintenance perennial gardens followed by a garden reception.  The next day, Saturday, June 25, I will give a different talk for the annual Perennials Day at Lockwood’s Greenhouses.  To learn more about this festival that has been featured in Country Gardens magazine as well as the Perennial Day activities, please visit http://www.nationalgardenfestival.com/  and http://www.lockwoodsgreenhouses.com/.
