Perennially Yours Moving to Maine

PERENNIALLY YOURS ON THE MOVE – LITERALLY!

After much thought and prayer, my husband and I have decided to move to Maine to be closer to my family in Kennebunk and Yarmouth
. We are looking for a single floor home that will better accommodate our changing needs. As many of you know, it is quite emotional leaving a home that you have happily lived in for years – in our case 27 years. But I am, and the Lord willing, will always be a ‘perennial optimist’. I’m looking forward to this new chapter of life. I will continue to operate Perennially Yours – writing monthly e-newsletters, organizing the Great Gardens and Landscaping Symposium; lecturing around the Northeast and Midwest; planning gardening events; conducting home garden and landscape consultations; and working part time at a local retail garden center. Only the location has changed.

Our home at 44 Chapman Street, Ballston Spa will be listed for sale on Sunday, September 8. Many of you have seen the property from the outside and know our charming, family-centered neighborhood that is just a short stroll to the village center. Our realtors are Deborah Herrin and Jonathan Glover from Exit Elite Realty Group. They are WONDERFUL! I originally met Deborah and Jon when I conducted garden consultations at their homes a number of years ago. Check out the virtual tour of our home at: http://walkthruphoto.info/Deborah-Herrin/44-Chapman/44-Chapman.html. And not only is our home cute (okay, I’m biased), it is also highly energy efficient, thanks to the incredible work my husband has done on the house in recent years. Our average monthly gas and electric bill  for 2012 was only $161!  To learn more about the property and listing price, please call Jon at (518) 506-5668 or Deborah at (518) 928-6307.

If you, or any of your family or friends, are interested in our home, please contact Deborah or Jon and reference that you learned of the property through Perennially Yours. If a sale is ultimately made, Sergio and I will get a ‘referral fee’, something to help with moving costs. And my way of thanking you will be giving you a very special, prized plant from my garden…..
