Jeffrey D. Cole’s Memorial Garden

On Memorial Day weekend my twin sister and I installed a memorial garden (that I designed) in honor of her husband, Jeff. The garden was planted in front of Cole-Harrison Insurance Agency, located on the main street in Kennebunk. Jeff passed away suddenly in March, 2018. He was 64 years old.

After 5 hours of digging and planting, we stepped back and surveyed our work. Not bad. A memorial bench was set in place a few weeks later. I’m excited to see how the garden looks later this summer as the plants mature and sweep into bloom. This garden is in Zone 5.
