Garden Design: Mirror, Mirror on the Wall

I get a kick out of using mirrors in the garden to play delightful tricks on the eye! A strategically sited mirror can give the illusion that a small garden is twice its size. One designer I know used mirrors to reflect sunlight into a heavily shaded garden area, allowing more plant choices. Brilliant! Start thinking outside the box and have fun using ‘reflectors’ in the landscape. For some intriguing examples check out these on Pinterest
