Garden and Landscape Consultations

The warming weather has generated a flurry (oops, bad word) of requests for home garden and landscape consultations. I’m (Kerry Ann Mendez) finally starting to schedule appointments for May and June in southern Maine, North Conway and southern New Hampshire, and the Boston area. I hope to add additional regions as the season progresses.

I love creating beautiful, sustainable gardens that are less work and money. So I’m waving my garden-gloved hand to come alongside you and partner to create YOUR dream garden. While on property I can answer your gardening questions as well as demo how to prune shrubs, divide, stake, deadhead, pinch back plants…you name it! For consultations in southern Maine (Portland and points south), the fee is $85 an hour on site. Outside southern Maine, the consulting fee is $95 an hour, plus a flat $25 travel fee to help offset gas, tolls, driving time and wear on the car. Consultations are billed at a minimum of one hour. Most folks find that a one or 1.5 hour consultation is ideal.

Below are the available dates and locations. I schedule 3 to 4 appointments per day:

Thursday, May 28: Boston area
Monday, June 1: southern Maine
Thursday, June 11: Boston area
Tuesday, June 23: North Conway, New Hampshire area
Thursday, June 25: Boston area
Monday, June 29: southern Maine
