Flowering Vines Webinar is almost here!

My fourth flower gardening Webinar (online lecture) is fast approaching – the live broadcast is Thursday, July 27 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern (although you don’t have to ‘attend’ the live event to enjoy the lecture). I’ll be talking about amazing spring, summer and fall blooming flowering vines – annual, perennial and woody climbers. The lecture covers the three different ways that vines ‘climb’ as well as unique design ideas, including using them as ‘cascaders’ and groundcovers. Wisteria f. ‘Amethyst Falls’, native to North America, is one of the featured vines. It has fragrant flowers in spring with some repeat bloom. It grows at a slower, less aggressive rate than Asian Wisteria and is hardy in Zones 5 – 9. (photo courtesy of North Creek Nurseries)

The 60+ minute presentation includes a lecture handout, the opportunity to ask questions during the Webinar, and a CEU form for green industry professionals and Master Gardeners. Registrants DO NOT HAVE TO ATTEND THE LIVE BROADCAST on July 27. All registrants will receive a link to the lecture and handouts within 72 hours of the broadcast. You can watch the video anytime, and as many times as you wish! (photo right: Climbing Lily)
