Flower Garden Containers

In spite of the cool, rainy weather this past weekend, I was determined to plant containers for my home’s entryway. I felt like a crazed chef concocting masterpieces – instead of flour flying everywhere, it was Espoma’s organic potting soil. I must have made quite the scene because several neighbors came over to see what I was doing.

Some containers were filled with only annuals; others had a mix of annuals, perennials and flowering shrubs. I was especially happy with how the self-watering red Viva pots from Gardener’s Supply Company came out. I know they will look even better once the sun shines and the temperatures rise.
