Field Play and Goalkeeper July Soccer Academy

A number of soccer players have asked if Evan would add field player
training sessions to the July soccer academy
.  Done!  Since Evan
participates in his premier soccer club’s field player drills, in addition to
goalie sessions, he is well suited to teaching both.  PLUS we are thrilled to
have Elizabeth Osborn, long time Ballston Spa recreational
socce coach, partner with Evan to lead the July soccer academy.

Evan and Elizabeth will pass on their
invaluable knowledge to other young men and women seeking to excel in soccer.  Training sessions for
field players will focus on agility, speed on the field, footwork, trapping and
striking the ball, defensive moves, kicking and distribution, communication
skills and more!  Goalies will also focus on defending against penalty kicks,
breakaways, crossovers, speed in the box, punching, catching and distributing
the ball, and much more.
The soccer skill sessions are open to
boys and girls in middle school and high school.

Below are the REVISED
session dates, times and fees:

July 9, 10, 11, 12 & 13 from
10:00 – 11:30 a.m
The goalkeeper and field player skill
sessions will run concurrently from 10:00 – 11:00 followed by scrimmaging with
all players from 11:00 – 11:30 a.m.
The 1.5 hour training sessions,
here at our home and at nearby fields in Ballston Spa, are $20
each
.  Players should bring their own soccer balls, shin guards and
water bottles.  Light refreshments will be provided.
To learn more and
to make reservations, please call (518) 885-3471 and Evan, Sergio or I will
answer your questions and take reservations.  Sessions are rain or shine (unless
there are thunderstorms).   Evan is also available for one-on-one coaching
sessions for a $50 hourly.
Evan’s soccer bio:   Evan
will be going to Harvard this fall.  He was Harvard’s top Class of 2016 national
goalkeeper recruit for their Division I soccer program.  Evan has been playing
competitively for the Blackwatch Soccer Club in Albany for years.  He was voted
Goalkeeper of the year in 2011 in the Suburban Council and was named the Most
Valuable Player in 2012 when his Blackwatch soccer team won the New York State
U17 (under seventeen) title.  Over the years, Evan has attended numerous soccer
academies as well as trained under many local keepers that played at the
Division I or II level.  To learn more about Evan and his ability as a
