Captivating Climbing Vines and How to Buy the BEST Perennials

There is still room in the Friday, April 21 Double-Header Gardening Program from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Woodstock Inn and Resort (the Saturday symposium is sold out). The Friday program combines two of my popular gardening lectures:
*Reach for the Sky! Captivating Climbing Vines. Creating a three-dimensional garden elevates beauty in any landscape, small or large. Discover gorgeous flowering vines – annual, woody and perennial – that carry the eye skyward. Learn the different ways that vines climb as well as the best supports to use. Inspiring design ideas will include screening eyesores, enhancing privacy and creating shade. (photo honeysuckle in mixed flower bed. Courtesy of Krause)
*A Designer’s Trade Secrets for Selecting the BEST Perennials at the BEST prices! Discover how to zero-in-on the best perennials at garden centers, the savvy way to use mail-order catalogs and ways to save money on purchases. Presentation includes a bonus handout featuring dozens of tips for jump-starting gardens in spring.
The three-hour class fee is $55 per person and includes a delicious refreshment break, door prizes and many handouts and garden catalogs. Group rate: $50 per person for 5 or more registered together.  $50 for Master Gardeners.

There are still rooms available at the world-class Woodstock Inn and Resort on Thursday evening, April 20.  Why not arrive early and enjoy luxurious accommodations at the special symposium room rate of $159, single or double (and this includes the resort facilities fee).
