Sunday, August 7 House and Garden Tour in Schroon Lake, NY. Proceeds to benefit the Schroon Lake Public Library. The tour showcases some of Schroon Lake’s most beautiful gardens and homes, including quaint bed and breakfasts. The tour runs from noon – 3:00 p.m. It will be followed be a special gardening presentation ‘Outstanding Perennials for Zones 3 and 4’ and book signing by Kerry Mendez from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. at the Boathouse Theater. Tickets for the tour and garden presentation are $18 before July 1st; $20 afterwards. If you only wish to attend the 3:30 garden lecture, the fee is $10, payable at the door of the Boathouse that day. Tour and talk tickets can be pre-ordered by mailing a check made out to Friends of Schroon Lake Library for the appropriate number of tickets and mailed to FOSLL, PO Box 253, Schroon Lake, NY 12870.
