ACTIVITY ADDED TO 9TH ANNUAL GREAT GARDENS AND LANDSCAPING SYMPOSIUM

I am thrilled to announce that the award-winning documentary film, A Chemical Reaction, will be shown at the 9th Annual Great Gardens and Landscaping Symposium on April 13 & 14, 2012 at The Equinox Resort (http://www.equinoxresort.com/) in Manchester, VT.  This film is shaking up the lawn care world with its heart-warming, inspirational, human-interest story about the origin of the natural lawn care movement in Canada and the U.S.  It also carries a powerful message about reducing and/or eliminating pesticides from the environment, especially around homes and schools.  This film rocked me with its message and well-researched information.  The film will available for viewing at the opening and close of the symposium.  It was produces by my good friend and nationally recognized organic lawn care specialist, Paul Tukey.

This great film bookends what will be another incredible symposium at a four-star resort featuring with nationally recognized speakers, great food, door prizes and a wonderful Gardener’s Marketplace with many different vendors.

The speakers:

William Cullina, award-winning author, speaker, photographer, recognized authority on North American native plants and Director of Horticulture/Plant Curator for the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens.

C. L. Fornari from Cape Cod, MA, a professional speaker, author, freelance writer, featured guest on television shows, and host of GardenLine, a call-in talk radio program on WXTK.

Lisa Napolitano, accredited Nursery Professional, prior owner of an ornamental plant nursery, 25 year organic  gardener, and co-host of a weekly, two-hour radio show in Hartford, CT titled “Garden Talk with Len and Lisa” that provides insight into organic gardening.

Kerry Ann Mendez, ‘passionate perennialist’, author, speaker, designer, teacher and owner of Perennially Yours, a garden design & consulting firm.
