2011 PERENNIALLY YOURS OPEN HOUSES
I love welcoming you to my gardens each year! Like you, it brings me joy and satisfaction to know that others appreciate my hard work – even in low-maintenance gardens. Because I only open my gardens to the public once a month, I try to post these dates far enough in advance so you can hopefully join me. There is no admission charge to any of my 2011 open houses.
Come and enjoy. Open houses are from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. I encourage you to bring your cameras to take pictures of plant combinations you like. The majority of my plants have been purchased at garden centers in the Capital District. I also encourage you to please respect my neighbors when you park as well as entering my property.
Please do not walk on their lawns or driveways.
Good neighborly relations is very, very important to me. That is another reason why I have decided to limit my plant division sales. I will not be selling divisions at my May open House. I will have a better idea later this spring which month(s) I will have plants for sale. Sale dates and times may be extended to reduce traffic congestion in my little neighborhood. The May open house is Tuesday, May 24 and June’s is Thursday, June 16. Both are from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Rain or shine. (P.S. The yellow flowering annual in the right of the picture is Bidens ‘Goldilocks Rocks’ that I have been raving about).
