Proven Winners Annuals Shine in Evaluation Trials

The Massachusetts Horticultural Society manages a diverse plant evaluation program at The Gardens at Elm Bank in Wellesley, MA. As noted earlier in this newsletter, I was there for a fall conference which also provided a chance to walk through these spectacular trial beds.

Breeding companies from all over the world contribute the newest and best varieties of annuals for scrutiny. But annuals are not the only plants under careful inspection. There are also many perennials as well as heirloom vegetables. (photo Sedum Lemon Coral, Proven Winners)

The results of the 2015 trails are posted here. The majority of the winning annuals were in the Proven Winners brand.
